Week Ahead · Ins7ghts Daily, Sunday 18 October 2026

Three things are already dated, and the nearest one lands before this week is out.

  • This week. Meta, Lam Research and Texas Instruments report results into a market that has sold AI shares for eight sessions straight. The question on the calls is what the previous capex returned.
  • Tuesday 10 November. California's first reporting deadline under SB 253 falls that day. Companies above $1 billion in revenue file their Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions, or file a statement saying they are not reporting.
  • Ours, open until the end of Q1 2027. At least one enterprise AI deal gets publicly repriced or delayed over an exportable-log clause rather than over model quality. That one is on our Scoreboard, flagged as our call, not a fact.
