Diginex has been buying Resulticks, a customer engagement platform, in an all-share deal. Its shareholders approved it on 13 October: 600,000,000 new Diginex shares as the consideration, and Redickaa Subrammanian, Resulticks' co-founder, to run the combined company once it completes. On Friday Diginex extended the long stop date to 19 November and called an extraordinary general meeting.
Three dates already fixed, nearest first:
19 November 2026. The long stop date on Diginex and Resulticks: the day the agreement lapses if it has not closed.
End of 2026. Microsoft says Claude inside Microsoft 365 Copilot will process data within the EU Data Boundary.
2027 and 2028. Google's $15 billion for new data centre campuses and cloud capacity in Malaysia, where Microsoft is opening a second region.
The first one is the cheapest to ignore and the most expensive to miss. The second and the third are vendor plans, and vendor plans slip without anybody losing a right. A long stop date is the opposite: on 19 November either the deal is done, or the parties agree to move the date again, or the agreement is dead and the buyer's own chief executive seat goes back to whoever holds it today. If you buy customer messaging from either company, that date decides who sets the roadmap you will be reading in January, and the only people who got told about it were the ones on the shareholder register.
